(Sorry but I can't remember the name of the fractal) but the one with the giant and the chains and the hammer you can not only just leave behind the hammer for the first set of booby-trapped ramps, but if you have a Thief in the group they can Shortbow 5 straight up by standing under each "landing" and using SB5 on the bottom of the next.
